dO YOU OFFER UNTHEMED MINI SESSIONS?

No. Mini sessions are a way for me to help my clients who don’t need a full-blown session – they just want to get a few good photos perhaps for holiday cards, updating their gallery walls in their homes, and sometimes just to have some updated images!

Simply put, a mini-session is a smaller version of a full session. Sounds pretty straightforward.

I offer mini-sessions throughout the year for various holidays and seasons.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes ! I love new locations ! I have a travel fee starting at $50 for anything more than 30 minutes from my home studio.

MY COMPUTER BROKE AND i LOST ALL MY PHOTOS. dO YOU HAVE THEM?

After 6 months, I archive galleries. This is to make room for new sessions! But don’t worry, I still have your images! There is a fee of $50 to pull old sessions from my archive. They will then be hosted again for another 6 months until they are archived.

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

Session rates vary for each session. Please refer to Packages for details on each session type.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Full Sessions: Sessions that are cancelled less than 2 weeks prior will be subject to a fee in order to book their next session.

  • Mini Sessions: Due to Mini Sessions being limited addition - by booking a slot you are committing to coming to the session. In the event of a no show or day of cancellation, the full session fee will be invoiced and must be paid before being able to book another session with Capture By Caitlin.

Retainers and deposits are non-refundable or transferable.

WHERE DO YOU SHOOT?

With the exception of Cake Smashes and Newborns. I shoot primarily outdoors.

Cake smashes are always done in my home studio. Newborns can be done in my home studio or in the comfort of your own home if you prefer.

ARE CAKES INCLUDED FOR CAKE SMASHES?

No. Due to various food allergies, I do not supply the cakes. If you’d like a recommendation for a baker in the area - I’d be happy to send over some contacts !

How early should I book my newborn session?

ASAP ! You can book your newborn session as early as you’d like. Booking your due date will secure a spot within the first 8-18 days after birth.

CAN i BOOK A MINI SESSION WITH MULTIPLE KIDS?

Yes ! Whether you have 1 child or 4 children, a mini session is for IMMEDIATE family members. If you’d like to do cousin photos or photos with friends children - please book two back to back sessions.

CAN MY DOG BE INCLUDED IN PHOTOS?

Absolutely ! I love fur babies ! I do recommend bringing someone else who is not in the photos to hold on to your pup during photos he/she is not included in. Also lots of treats !

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY NEWBORN SESSION?

Just what you would pack in your diaper bag for a normal outing! If there is something special you wanted to include in your session ( ie, a photo or a special blanket) feel free to bring that as well.
